Two life-size "spokes puppets", 45 education programs, a singing dog, storyteller, face painters, balloon artist, mounted police, water safety rescue team, firemen with truck and ladder, recycle units, dental van, mobile library, police cars, food vendors, clowns, pubic officials, costumed fairytale characters, a ton of give-away items, more than 3,300 attendees, and a conga line comprised of eight local mascots converged in a Sacramento park for an interactive day of health education for families and youngsters.  The event celebrated the programs of First 5 Sacramento, a state-funded agency focused on the healthy upbringing of children under the age of five.
